The predicted salary is between 32 - 32 £ per hour.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer for a 2-month contract covering London and surrounding counties.

This role requires a highly competent engineer with strong commercial gas qualifications and mechanical/plumbing experience. You will be working across commercial environments carrying out servicing, maintenance and associated mechanical works. This is a contractor role; you must provide your own vehicle and tools.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience within the gas industry
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications (Essential): COCN1 (or suitable changeover), CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1, TCP1
  • Plumbing Qualifications (Essential): City & Guilds Level 3, WRAS / Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water (G3)
Preferred (Desirable but Not Essential)
  • Industrial gas or oil experience
  • Gas booster or compressor servicing / installation
  • Renewable technologies (Solar / ASHP)
  • BOAS (Category 2 or 5)
  • UKATA Asbestos Awareness
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
  • Professional membership (CEA, IGEM, CPHE)
  • Engineering Council registration (EngTech / IEng / CEng)
The Role
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and fault finding on commercial gas systems
  • Supporting mechanical and plumbing works as required
  • Working across multiple sites in London and surrounding counties
  • Ensuring compliance with gas safety and industry regulations
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
