Salary Information: £38,400 (based on 40 hours a week) + Door to Door Payments + Company Vehicle and Fuel Card and Overtime Available (paid at 1.5x and 2.0x based on hours worked)
About the Role
Mainstay Recruitment are currently looking for a Commercial Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join our clients team based in the Atherton, Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and installation of commercial air conditioning systems across a range of projects, including offices, schools, colleges, and renewable energy systems.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and repairs of air conditioning systems and associated equipment
Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs efficiently
Conduct new system installations as required
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant health and safety standards and company procedures
Accurately complete all necessary job documentation
Liaise with clients and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in commercial air conditioning servicing and installation
City & Guilds Level 2 Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations Category 1 (essential)
Additional City & Guilds HVAC qualifications (preferred)
Strong understanding of a range of commercial air conditioning systems
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
