Performance Manager Salisbury | Β£60,000 | Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity Are you a data-driven performance professional who knows how to turn complex information into meaningful operational improvements? We're looking for a Performance Manager to take ownership of KPI management, data analysis and contractual reporting across a major Hard FM contract supporting the UK Defence estate in Salisbury. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you'll monitor contractual performance, identify trends and emerging risks, and use your findings to drive measurable improvements. Working closely with operational, technical and compliance teams, you'll investigate performance gaps, undertake root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to help ensure KPIs, service level agreements and contractual obligations are consistently achieved. You'll also develop and improve performance dashboards, management information and reporting frameworks, presenting clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders. As the subject matter expert for the contract's Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, you'll champion data accuracy and integrity while identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes. This is an analytical, individual-contributor role rather than a traditional people-management position. Your ability to interpret data, communicate findings and influence decisions will be central to your success. The position offers hybrid working, with regular site visits. You'll need to live within approximately one hour of Salisbury and hold a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities Manage and analyse contractual KPIs, SLAs and wider performance measures, identifying trends, risks and areas for improvement. Undertake root cause analysis and work with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventative actions, monitoring their effectiveness. Produce accurate contractual performance reports, management information and governance submissions for senior stakeholders and customers. Develop and improve dashboards, reporting frameworks and performance monitoring processes. Present complex findings clearly, translating data into practical recommendations that support informed decision-making. Maintain CAFM data accuracy, integrity and auditability, ensuring reporting can be trusted. Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve reporting processes and operational performance. Collaborate with operational delivery, scheduling, technical compliance, quality assurance and support teams to improve contract outcomes. Provide guidance on KPI interpretation, performance data and reporting requirements, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For Experience managing and reporting on KPIs, SLAs and contractual performance within facilities management. Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interrogate complex datasets, identify trends and investigate root causes. Experience developing dashboards, management information and reporting frameworks using business intelligence tools. Extensive CAFM system experience; knowledge of Maximo would be particularly beneficial. A track record of turning performance analysis into practical recommendations and measurable improvements. Confidence presenting complex findings to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions through evidence-based insight. Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Essential requirements British nationality and eligibility to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. Full UK driving licence. Residence within approximately one hour of the Salisbury site.
What's on Offer Salary of up to Β£60,000, depending on experience. Permanent position with a 37.5-hour working week. Hybrid working with regular site visits. 6% employee-matched pension contribution. Private medical cover for you and your partner. Company car or car allowance. Life assurance at twice your annual salary. 25 days' annual leave.
If you're looking for a role where your analytical skills can influence senior decision-making, strengthen contractual performance and drive meaningful improvements across a Defence Hard FM environment, we'd welcome a conversation.
