Mechanical Technician Salary: £40,000£45,000 Location: Thames Valley Business Park Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:0017:00) Overtime available on weekends Callout rota: 1 in 4 weeks The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join a dedicated team at Thames Valley Business Park. This role involves working on a variety of mechanical and plumbing systems, including HVAC, water supply, and drainage, within commercial properties, the successful candidate will work closely with an electrical engineer to ensure all systems are operating efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical and plumbing systems. Diagnose and resolve faults in HVAC, drainage, and water systems promptly. Install, repair, and upgrade mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air conditioning units. Test and assess plumbing systems for leaks or faults, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of service activities and compliance documentation. Work collaboratively with an electrical engineer and other team members. Participate in a 1-in-4 callout rota for emergency support.
