Up to Β£38,000 per annum

37.5 Hours per Week | Temp-to-Permanent | On-Call 1 in 3 Weeks

Mainstay Recruitment is working with a leading private healthcare provider to recruit an Engineering Technician with an electrical bias, supporting operations across two hospital sites in Droitwich and Meriden. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits, working within a professional engineering team that plays a vital part in maintaining high-quality patient care environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical and general building maintenance tasks across both hospital sites
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive issues in a timely manner
  • Provide technical support for fault finding and breakdowns
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to ensure 24/7 support is available
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance at all times
  • Support colleagues and assist in maintaining a strong, collaborative team culture
Requirements:
  • Electrical bias with a valid ECS, JIB or CSCS card
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial maintenance environments
  • Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel between sites)
  • Ability to pass a standard DBS check
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation, ACOPs, and building services
