I am working on behalf of my client to recruit an experienced and driven Delivery Manager to lead a high-performing team across two key sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing maintenance, particularly within reactive and voids work, who is looking to step into a role with real impact.

About the Role

Based primarily out of High Wycombe with regular travel to Brize Norton, this is an on-site role managing all aspects of the day-to-day repairs service, including subcontractor performance, out-of-hours support, and customer complaints. The focus is on reactive maintenance and voids; this is not a PPM-heavy role.

You’ll be responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. My client is particularly keen to hear from candidates with Housing Association experience, as this will be central to the nature of the work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full operational management of the repairs service across both sites
  • Overseeing complex reactive and voids maintenance
  • Monitoring KPIs, budgets, and taking proactive corrective actions
  • Managing and developing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Engaging with customers and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner
  • Delivering reports and updates to senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Training to become the Responsible Person for Legionella and asbestos compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • A solid background in repairs and maintenance within social housing or a similar sector
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in performance management and budgetary control
  • A good understanding of British Standards and relevant regulations
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or working towards)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with risk assessments and permit-to-work systems
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS are a plus, though not essential if you have strong experience.

What’s on Offer

  • £40,000 - £47,000 salary
  • Company car or car allowance
  • 25 days holiday
  • 6% matched pension
  • Private medical cover (single)
  • Life assurance (2x salary)
