We are recruiting for a Permanent HGV Class 1 Day Driver to work for our client in Derby. Your duties will include inter-depot trunking using a refrigerated double decker trailer. You will have 1 delivery per shift to a site in Enfield.
Pay rates are as follows:
- Basic Hours - £14.01 per hour
- Overtime - £21.01 per hour (paid after 39 hours in any working week)
- Sunday - £28.02 per hour
- PAID BREAKS - No deductions from your hours
- Holidays are paid on top of this (no rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay)
Available Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off. You will work on average 9-11 hours per shift.
To be eligible for this position, you will need:
- To have held a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 driving license for at least 1 year (with a maximum 6 penalty points)
- An up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
- Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
- To meet the shift availability requirements for this vacancy
