Mainstay Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a local Facilities Management company based in the Manchester, Lancashire area. This role involves working on a number of different commercial buildings such as schools, libraries, town halls and other commercial buildings. Ideally, you will have experience on similar contracts but it is not essential.

Salary and Package Information:

  • £19.32 per hour / £40,000 year salary on a 40 Hour Week (Overtime available)
  • Full door to door payment to and from sites
  • Van and Fuel Card
  • Standby, on call and call out payments

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out PPM, servicing and some installation work.
  • Fault-finding and reactive/breakdown repair to electrical building services infrastructure systems to include (not limited to) Power, UPS, Single & 3 Phase lighting, emergency lighting & alarms within a number of client facilities, commercial/corporate and education client environments.

Key Requirements:

  • City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • ECS JIB Card either graded as Electrician or Approved Electrician
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Experienced in performing PPM to Electrical Building Services Systems as outlined above.
  • The ability to multi-skill and possessing a flexible approach with a Can-Do attitude to performing general building maintenance in addition to core duties i.e., basic plumbing.
  • Driving License (Maximum of 6 Penalty Points for Company Vehicle Insurance)
