We are recruiting for Permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our client in Derby. Your duties will include inter-depot trunking using a refrigerated double decker trailer. You will typically have 2 deliveries per shift but on occasion this may only be one delivery. There is no handball involved and you will drive a brand new Mercedes vehicle.

The company offers fantastic earning potential due to extremely high hourly rates, which are as follows:

  • Basic Hours - £17.51 per hour
  • Overtime - £26.27 per hour (paid after 39 hours in any working week)
  • Sunday - £35.05 per hour

PAID BREAKS - No deductions from your hours. Holidays are paid on top of this (no rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay).

Available Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off. You will work on average 8-10 hours per shift.

To be eligible for this position, you will need:

  • To have held a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 driving license for at least 1 year (with a maximum of 6 penalty points)
  • An up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
  • Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
  • To meet the shift availability requirements for this vacancy
