The Marketing Manager will lead the company’s marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and events, to promote our specialist geotechnical services across the UK and Ireland. This role includes developing a comprehensive marketing strategy, managing digital campaigns, enhancing brand reputation and coordinating events to support business growth. You will play a key role in raising brand awareness, generating leads and delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a digital-first Marketing Plan and Budget that is aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the redevelopment and continuous improvement of the company website, ensuring it functions as a lead-generation and brand-awareness tool.
- Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media campaigns, email marketing and website content updates.
- Plan and execute events, including trade shows and other promotional activities, to showcase our brand and services.
- Create high-quality, engaging content for digital and print, such as blogs, case studies, videos and promotional materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Support new products or territories with targeted marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to optimize lead generation and improve conversion rates.
- Track and analyse the performance of marketing activities, providing actionable insights and ensuring strong ROI.
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced digital marketing skills, including expertise in SEO, PPC, social media management, Google Analytics and email marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and video editing tools.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and implementing marketing plans that integrate digital, PR and events.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing plans and campaign budgets.
- Strong photography skills, with experience producing marketing materials and content.
- Thorough understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to measure performance, track ROI and make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive approach to self-learning and staying informed on marketing trends, industry developments and new technologies.
