The Role: We're looking for a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our busy workshop team, responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and associated handling equipment to the highest standard. As a Forklift Engineer at Mainline, you'll carry out planned maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs both in the workshop and, where required, on customer sites. You'll play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and ready for hire, directly supporting our reputation for reliability and quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and related handling equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Complete thorough safety inspections and ensure equipment meets compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Carry out repairs on customer sites when required, representing the Mainline brand professionally
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
