Were hiring aCAP Qualified Powered Access Site Technician to join our ever-growing team and drive our success forward. Hours are weekdays only, 7am-5pm or 6am-4pm no weekends!

Mainline was established in 1982 and has earned an enviable reputation for being one of UKs foremost providers of specialist Powered Access, Lifting and Handling equipment. At the heart of our success is the considerable investment that we have made over recent years in our two most important aspects of people and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending breakdowns on customer sites.

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment

Performing LOLER inspections and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)

Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical problems

Overseeing the work of apprentices

Complying with all safety regulations

What Were Looking For:

  • Relevant experience or qualifications within the powered access industry eg. CAP, NVQ or manufacturer courses
  • A sound mechanical knowledge in a powered access background.
  • Competence in electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in fault finding / diagnostics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal andorganisationalskills.
  • Positive can-do attitude to problem solving.

The ability to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing demanding hire environment and work well under pressure
