We are looking for a motivated and collaborative team player to join our Material Control Repairs Department at the world’s largest ACMI service provider. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, professional team supporting global operations, from line and heavy maintenance to AOG demand.

As a Material Controller within the Repairs team, you will support our global operations through the evaluation and critical analysis of rotable material from the line stations and teardown projects. This is a material planning and procurement role, to control stock levels crucial for line maintenance, heavy maintenance, and AOG demand.

This position is well-suited to an MRO professional with proven experience in supply chain management - ideally within an airline environment, and with exposure to PBH or AOG supply responsibilities. We are seeking someone with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse material usage, demand patterns, and market trends
  • Negotiate with service providers and manage supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet operational timelines and requirements
  • Oversee inventory issues, developing proactive and innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, purchasing, or project management within aviation or MRO
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying root causes
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with accuracy in data handling and reporting; experience with our ERP (TRAX/eMRO) is a strong advantage
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal; if English is not your first language, a minimum of C1 CEFR level is required
  • Recognised training accreditation in logistics, engineering, or sciences desirable
  • Right to live and work in the UK is essential
