Description Maine Medical Center Department: Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 26157 Summary: The Perioperative Readiness Technician role is responsible for assisting the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities and supporting the physician/advanced practice practitioner in patient care tasks related to assessment and preparation of patients for surgery. Key duties include: Phlebotomy Taking vitals Rooming patients Other associated tasks for this day shift, per diem role Location: MMC Portland Brighton Ave Campus Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: At least one year required; three years preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Perioperative Services Technician II.
