Are you a highly organised individual with strong stakeholder management skills and experience supporting projects, events, or committees? This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, professional, and well-established membership organisation with a collaborative culture and a strong sense of community. Supporting a global network of over 100 branches, this is a varied role where you will work closely with volunteers, committees, and internal teams to drive engagement, support events, and contribute to key projects across the organisation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to new and existing branches within a global network.
- Act as a key point of contact for branch committees, supporting day-to-day queries as well as longer-term initiatives.
- Lead and support branch-related projects, including planning, coordination, and tracking progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Act as Committee Secretary for key committees, coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
- Support branches with event promotion, programme development, and member communications.
- Assist in the development and launch of new Chapters and Branches, including guidance on business planning and setup.
- Maintain accurate branch records and data within the CRM system (Salesforce experience desirable).
- Support reporting and performance tracking of branch activity, contributing to dashboards and insights.
- Work closely with Marketing to support campaigns related to branch and member engagement.
- Collaborate with Membership, Marketing, and Events teams to align activity and improve overall member experience.
- Attend events, committee meetings, and networking functions as required.
- Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and procedures, including election protocols.
Experience Required
- Experience working within a membership organisation or supporting committees.
- Experience leading or supporting projects, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including at events.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience of working in a support role (e.g. team support, coordinator, PA/EA or similar).
- Competence in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience using databases/CRM systems.
- Experience in writing marketing copy or supporting email campaigns (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
