An award-winning team of surveyors and property consultants based in Orpington, Kent are seeking a talented Senior HR Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic HRBP to contribute to reaching the next level of success and support continuous improvement. The role is office based throughout the week.
The HRBP will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies and continue to build and develop the HR function. This standalone role will straddle both strategic and day-to-day HR duties with a focus on implementing and delivering an ambitious performance management strategy. We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of strategic HR projects ideally with a special interest in performance management.
Your duties will include:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and partners, providing insights on people-related matters and driving a people-first strategy
- Further develop the HR function
- Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Drive a performance culture
- Define and implement a robust and effective performance management system
- Support, coach, and upskill line managers to support them with performance management
- Support the business by ensuring top talent is hired, nurtured, developed and retained
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new processes
- Drive stakeholder engagement in HR initiatives and foster a positive and collaborative culture
- Lead on recruitment and onboarding
- Use experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organisational design, engagement and talent
You:
- An exceptional communicator with ability to influence and engage
- A resilient character with energy and determination
- Exceptional presenter, polished and articulate
- Experienced senior HR generalist with demonstrable success in a similar-sized company
- Relevant history either in a standalone role or as part of a small HR team
- CIPD qualified (level 5 or above) or QBE with significant relevant experience
- Passionate about developing HR Strategy
- Easy access to the Orpington office as well as regular site visits to offices in Herts and the South Coast
This is an exceptional role for an ambitious, proactive and talented Senior HR Business Partner.
