This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, professional, and well-established global membership organisation with a collaborative culture. We’re seeking a highly organised Governance and Committee Executive to support the delivery of governance activities across boards, committees, and regional structures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring effective governance processes, supporting senior stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of administration, communication, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support governance activities, ensuring compliance with policies and best practice
  • Coordinate annual elections, including communications, record-keeping, and stakeholder liaison
  • Assist with the delivery of hybrid/virtual AGMs
  • Provide high-quality committee support, including minute-taking, meeting coordination, and action tracking
  • Maintain accurate governance records, databases, and documentation
  • Support committee recruitment processes, ensuring inclusive practices
  • Manage queries and communications, delivering excellent stakeholder service

Skills and experience required

Essential

  • Proven experience in a governance, committee, or similar administrative role
  • Experience supporting AGMs or large-scale meetings (virtual/hybrid)
  • Experience coordinating elections or structured selection processes
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written communication and minute-taking skills
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office)

Desirable

  • Experience in a membership, regulatory, legal, or professional body
  • Knowledge of governance best practice
