We are an international development charity working globally to support vulnerable communities through practical assistance, advocacy, and welfare services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Database Officer for an International Development charity to support the management of CRM system and ensure high-quality data to underpin our fundraising and communications work. You will work closely with the Data & Appeals Manager to maintain data accuracy, process donations, and provide reporting and insights to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and cleanse CRM data (e.g. Raiser’s Edge or similar)
  • Process and reconcile donations with Finance
  • Run regular processes (e.g. direct debits, Gift Aid)
  • Produce data selections and reports for fundraising campaigns
  • Manage database access and support colleagues with queries
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and data integrity

Key Requirements:

  • Experience using CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, data cleaning)
  • Experience working with large datasets and data imports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
