Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant – Xero experience essential
Part-time 4 days a week
£23 – £26 per hour including holiday pay
Will consider fully remote, with some meetings to London required

We are currently looking for a temporary Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant with Xero experience to join a global not-for-profit organisation. As Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the finance function by assisting with the processing and recording of financial data. The role involves paying particular attention to XERO projects to develop the system and the requirements for payroll and HMRC compliance reporting whilst complying with UK regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Transaction processing and preparation of finance data to TB level with accompanying reconciliation.
- Small number of sales (recharge invoices).
- Processing and payment of all supplier invoices.
- Support with processing payroll information.
- Processing credit card expenditure.
- Preparation of VAT information.
- Ad hoc management information from XERO to Excel to support HMRC compliance reports.
- Opportunity for streamlining XERO systems and maximising efficiencies.
