As a factory mail sorter you will be responsible for loading mail items onto our paper wrapping machines and then placing the mail into trays. You will also be responsible for building mail trays and stacking them onto pallets.

Responsibilities

  • Load mail items onto paper wrapping machines and place the mail into trays.
  • Build mail trays and stack them onto pallets.
  • Lifting of mail boxes and products (in accordance with Manual Handling guidelines).
  • Quality checks of items processed through machines.
  • Act in an appropriate and respectful manner when dealing with other employees, visitors or members of the public.

Qualifications

  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and having a can do, right first time and passionate approach.
  • Training will be provided, but you will need a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
