Role Description
We are seeking a full‑time Estimator – Scaffolding to join our team onsite at our Tonbridge location. In this role, you will evaluate project requirements by conducting site surveys, interpreting architectural drawings, and preparing detailed cost estimates. You will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions of tenders and quotations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying project scope, calculating material and labour costs, preparing comprehensive proposals, and maintaining clear communication with existing and prospective clients. The role requires a strong focus on detail, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
- Strong skills in project estimation, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Experience with scaffolding systems and their industry‑specific requirements including safety standards and best practices.
- Effective communication and client management skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and submitting tenders and quotations.
