We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher with a particular focus on promoting high-quality Teaching and Learning. The core purpose of the role is to provide vision, strategic direction and leadership for Teaching & Learning with a focus on ensuring Quality First Teaching (QFT) for all students in lessons.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading designated whole‑school areas of responsibility, including whole‑school teaching development, staff CPD, new staff induction, oversight of ECTS and ITTs, and quality assurance of both teaching and the curriculum.
- Leading on department reviews and ensuring high standards across the curriculum.
- Collaborating with the Leadership Team – Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher (DSL), five Assistant Headteachers and the School Business Manager.
- Supporting staff in their professional development and contributing to a vibrant and supportive environment for intellectually able students.
