We have an opportunity for an organised and proactive IT Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative support to the Council's ICT Shared Service, which covers Maidstone, Swale and Tunbridge Wells Borough Councils.
Working Arrangements
This position is full time, working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. It is hybrid working, usually with one day a week in the Maidstone office, or this may be flexible to be one of the other offices of the Shared Service.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain documentation
- Invoicing and supplier processing
- Respond to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- Support IT project documentation
- Organise meetings for senior officers
- Produce communications to stakeholders across the Shared Service
- Provide robust administrative and communication support to enable technical teams to focus on service delivery
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, organised, and possess excellent communication skills
- Experience working in administration
- Good IT skills, including working knowledge of Adobe and Excel
- Experience with invoice processing
