You will work with students with a range of abilities and needs, including those with SEMH and SEN, providing tailored support to help them re‑engage with learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress.

We support learners who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings and provide preventative support to those who are at risk of permanent exclusion. We are a multi‑site organisation which includes our Primary provision, based at College Road and Secondary provision, based at Cranbury Road. We have Outreach teams that provide specialist support within schools and a Hospital Teaching Service based at Royal Berkshire Hospital who provide education to children on short and long term stays.

Cranbury College is a fast paced, energetic setting where we pride ourselves on a strong team ethic, always working together to create a nurturing and supportive setting for our students' alternative pathway to success.

The Trust currently comprises 9 schools in the local area, with a variety of settings including primary, secondary, special and a PRU. As a Trust, we encourage professional development at all levels through the use of cross‑Trust networks to share best practice and ideas. We also actively encourage the promotion of staff to different roles within the Trust and to different settings in line with their career aspirations.

Benefits include:

  • A system of ‘ME days’ allowing staff to request an additional day off per year to attend special events such as children’s sports days & graduations, family and friends' weddings.
  • CPD available for all staff at all levels.
  • Free flu vaccinations offered to all staff.
  • Free eye tests provided for eligible staff.
  • Breakfast and lunch provided for staff regularly, including on many INSET days and as a thank you throughout the year.
