Senior Associate – Retained Technology Executive Search

Maiden Marc Associates provided pay range: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus and equity options (EMI and real equity) according to individual performance.

About the role

The Senior Associate focuses on delivering existing retained mandates from day one, working under the guidance and mentorship of an established Principal. The position offers a path to develop along a dedicated delivery track or evolve into a more commercially focused role, with the possibility to progress into a fee‑generating Principal/Partner, depending on your career goals.

The firm emphasizes an employee‑first, team‑focused culture, offering flexible working arrangements and a single company‑wide P&L to encourage genuine teamwork and collaboration.

Core responsibilities

  • Deliver retained executive search mandates for C‑suite and Head‑of level positions across Tech, Data, Digital, and Cyber sectors.
  • Build and maintain a market of qualified candidates, leveraging the firm’s broader candidate relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal to ensure successful placement and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in business development activities and support the growth of the firm’s retained practice.

Ideal candidates

  • Three to six years of recruiting experience with a core focus on Tech, Data, Digital, or Cyber Security.
  • Experience in retained search, internal recruitment, or high‑quality contingent recruiting (preferably in a technology‑specialised environment).
  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to engage C‑suite executives.
  • A desire to grow into a delivery‑track or commercially focused role within a small, collaborative firm.
