Maiden Marc Advisory is looking to add several Graduate Associates and experienced Senior Associate-level candidates to a leading boutique Executive Search firm that specialises in Board and Director-level placements across Private Equity, Investment Banking, Technology, Real Estate, Asset Management, and Consumer. They are consistently retained on 'C-Suite Level' searches by some of the most prestigious institutions across EMEA and North America, and are widely considered to be one of the industry's best boutique retained search businesses.
Established in 2000 with an ambition to become unrivalled in their market knowledge and reputation, they have succeeded in building a brand respected by clients, candidates, and competitors alike. As a business, they promote organic growth and foster a genuine meritocratic environment, with the vast majority of current Partners having started within the firm as Associates and grown with the company.
Joining at either the Associate or Senior Associate level with a base of £36,000 to £52,000 (depending on experience) plus a strong performance-weighted bonus structure, they have a fantastic track record of developing candidates into revenue-generating Consultants as their sector knowledge increases over the course of their careers. This is achieved through a combination of 'on-desk' market exposure and a rotational development program perfected over 25+ years of trading.
This program gives Associates a balance of senior exposure and strategic involvement in the consulting, delivery and research process - rotating them across four coverage areas and allowing them to specialise in a chosen vertical over time based on performance and personal preference.
As you develop, you will be given responsibility for more significant parts of the retained search mandate management and delivery, including:
- Identifying, referencing, and assessing potential candidates for retained mandates
- Ongoing research and networking to source top performers from talent pools across their core markets
- Creating forensic competitor analysis, including strategic overviews, benchmarking, bespoke market and product intelligence reports through referencing and profiling market leaders
- Assisting and running the client-side execution of active mandates
- Conducting pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence, as well as proactively supporting strategic projects
- Active outreach and long-term relationship building with the top talent in the market
The typical profile of a successful candidate would include the following:
- Excellent research and academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification
- Fresh graduate to 4 years of commercial experience in recruitment, headhunting, executive search, or transferable professional service experience from consulting, expert networks, law training contracts or grad schemes
- A naturally inquisitive, well-organised, structured, resilient, and disciplined personality with a high level of attention to detail
- An analytical thinking process coupled with a polished and well-rounded communication technique
- Exceptional rapport-building skills and the ability to excel from day one in a commercial, professional and driven environment
- A drive to build a career in retained 'C-level' executive search within a respected industry leader
Please reach out if you meet the above criteria and are interested in learning more about this opportunity.
