Maiden Marc Advisory is looking to add several Associates (including graduates starting in September 2026) and experienced Senior Associates with European language skill sets to a leading boutique Executive Search firm based in London. Specialising in Board and Director-level placements across Private Equity, Financial Services, Technology, Real Assets, Industrials and Consumer markets, they are consistently retained on 'C-Suite' searches by the most prestigious institutions across EMEA and North America and are widely considered to be one of the industry's top search firms.
Established with the ambition to become unrivalled in their markets, they have built a brand respected by clients, candidates, and competitors alike. They promote organic growth and foster a genuine meritocratic environment, with the majority of Partners starting at the firm as Associates and growing with the company.
Joining at either the Associate or Senior Associate level with a base of £36,000 to £52,000 (depending on experience) plus a strong performance-weighted annual bonus structure, they have a fantastic track record of developing candidates through their Associate program into revenue-generating Principals. Achieving this through a combination of 'on-desk' market exposure and a rotational development program perfected over 25+ years of trading, the set-up gives Associates a mix of senior exposure and strategic involvement across consulting, delivery, and research.
During the program, you will rotate through four different coverage areas over the course of two years, setting you up to specialise in a chosen vertical based on your personal preferences and team fit. As you progress, you will be given responsibility for more significant parts of the retained search mandate management and delivery, including:
- Identifying, referencing, and assessing potential candidates for retained mandates
- Ongoing research and networking to source top performers from talent pools across their core markets
- Creating forensic competitor analysis, including strategic overviews, benchmarking, bespoke market and product intelligence reports through referencing and profiling market leaders
- Assisting and running the client-side execution of active mandates
- Conducting pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence, as well as proactively supporting strategic projects
- Active outreach and long-term relationship building with the top talent in the market
The typical profile of a successful candidate would include the following:
- Excellent research and academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification
- A fresh graduate or someone with up to 4 years of commercial experience in recruitment, executive search, or transferable professional service experience
- A naturally inquisitive, structured, and disciplined personality with a high level of attention to detail
- An analytical thinking process coupled with a well-rounded communication technique
- Exceptional rapport-building skills and the ability to excel from day one in a commercial, professional and driven environment
- A drive to build a career in retained 'C-level' executive search within a respected industry leader
- European language fluency (non-essential but highly sought after)
Please reach out if you meet the above criteria and are interested in learning more about this opportunity.
