We are seeking a Teacher of Geography to join Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge. The role focuses on planning and delivering highly effective lessons, contributing to curriculum development, and ensuring all students make strong progress in a safe, purposeful and ambitious learning environment. Curriculum Leadership opportunities are available for the right candidate with an allowance TLR2b.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with Trust schemes of work and the Learning and Teaching Framework.
  • Motivate and inspire students to engage positively in learning and achieve high academic standards.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, inform planning and close attainment gaps.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour for learning in line with Trust expectations.
  • Act as a form tutor, supporting students' personal development, wellbeing and progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum enrichment, including trips and wider learning opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole school and Trust priorities.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and all statutory and Trust policies.
