The postholder will work with the Director for Secondary and the School Improvement Director: Quality of Education to support the implementation of an ambitious, compliant and aligned curriculum across Maiden Erlegh Trust.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidates will coordinate the development and delivery of curriculum plans and resources in their subject area, working with identified subject representatives from each mainstream secondary school.
- They will support curriculum alignment across Maiden Erlegh Trust, act as the subject representative for their own school, and contribute to the quality assurance of curriculum implementation through agreed plans and resources.
- The role will also involve supporting colleagues to maintain high standards in curriculum planning and ensuring work is delivered in agreed formats and within agreed timescales.
Qualifications
- We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong understanding of curriculum design and an interest in curriculum development across the secondary hub.
- Candidates should be able to apply high standards and expectations to curriculum planning, communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people, and work in an organised and methodical way.
- They should also be confident using IT systems, able to work flexibly as part of a team, and demonstrate initiative.
