This is a key role supporting the Leadership Team, focused on ensuring outstanding support for students who face barriers to learning, including social, emotional and behavioural challenges, low self‑esteem, and attendance concerns. You will play a vital role in improving student outcomes, promoting inclusion and ensuring effective safeguarding practice across all settings, primarily based at Cranbury Road but regularly attending our satellite sites to ensure consistency and provide support across all provisions.
The ability to analyse data and use it to support students’ progress both academically and pastorally, to maintain accurate records and oversee intervention tracking systems is key. In this role you will analyse behaviour, attendance and pastoral data to inform strategy and ensure clear communication across staff, leaders and stakeholders, as well as leading a team of Behaviour Support Workers to ensure a structured, impactful service.
You will also provide targeted mentoring and intervention for vulnerable students, coordinate personalised strategies to improve behaviour, attendance and engagement, liaise with families, external agencies and professionals to ensure joined‑up support and contribute to safeguarding processes and multi‑agency work. A vital part of this role involves the ability to lead behaviour systems and strategies in collaboration with the SLT, overseeing daily operational behaviour support, including on‑call and interventions.
You will direct support staff in applying effective behaviour management approaches and proactively identify students at risk of exclusion and implement early intervention.
