The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will plan, resource and deliver high-quality English lessons across the ability range, ensuring strong progress, excellent behaviour for learning and high academic standards. You will work collaboratively within the English department to develop engaging schemes of work, contribute to curriculum enrichment, and play a full role in the wider life of the school and Trust. The role includes acting as a form tutor and supporting students' academic progress, wellbeing and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring and effective English lessons in line with agreed schemes of work
- Ensure consistently high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
- Track student progress carefully and implement strategies to close gaps in attainment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, conduct and attendance
- Act as a form tutor and contribute to strong pastoral support
- Participate in enrichment activities, trips and extra-curricular provision
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school improvement
