We are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to strengthen our inclusion team. We want to appoint a resilient and outgoing individual to join our fun and lively team. You will be based across Cranbury College sites supporting students on their journey to re‑engage with education. This is a challenging but very rewarding role supporting some of the most vulnerable learners within the local community. The ability to make the role your own and build strong relationships is essential.
Cranbury College is a pupil referral unit and alternative education provision for young people ranging from 5‑16 years old. We support learners who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings and provide preventative support to those who are at risk of permanent exclusion. Additionally, we support those that unintentionally exclude themselves from education and children who cannot access school for medical reasons. We are a multi‑site organisation which includes our primary provision, based at College Road, and secondary provision, based at Cranbury Road. We have an outreach team for secondary students that provides specialist support within schools and a hospital teaching service based at Royal Berkshire Hospital that provides education to children on short and long‑term stays.
