About This Role

As our Attendance Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely recording of student attendance. You’ll be the first point of contact for attendance-related queries and work closely with pastoral staff, parents, and external agencies to support student engagement. The working hours for this role are 8am-12pm, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily attendance and punctuality using the school’s MIS system
  • Follow up on unexplained absences via phone, email, and text
  • Maintain accurate records and produce attendance reports for senior leadership
  • Liaise with parents/carers regarding attendance concerns
  • Support the safeguarding team with attendance-related information
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to student welfare and behaviour
