About This Role

As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are delivered to students across a range of subjects, year groups, and abilities. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that are accessible, challenging, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners, helping them to make strong progress. You will also play a key role in supporting students on their journey to success - whether that involves re‑engagement with mainstream education or the achievement of meaningful qualifications that prepare them for their next steps. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role, working with learners from a variety of backgrounds and needs. About Cranbury College

Cranbury College is an Alternative Education provider for young people ranging from 5-16 years old. We support learners who have been permanently excluded from mainstream settings and provide preventative support to those who are at risk of permanent exclusion. Additionally, we support those that unintentionally exclude themselves from education and children who cannot access school for medical reasons. We are a multi‑site organisation which includes our Primary provision, based at College Road and Secondary provision, based at Cranbury Road. We have Outreach teams that provide specialist support within schools and a Hospital Teaching Service based at Royal Berkshire Hospital who provide education to children on short and long‑term stays. Cranbury College is a fast‑paced, energetic setting where we pride ourselves on a strong team ethic, always working together to create a nurturing and supportive setting for our student's alternative pathway to success.

About The Trust

Maiden Erlegh Trust is committed to developing a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative community of highly effective schools that deliver excellent education opportunities for the children and young people of the communities we serve. Through our work we will ensure that our children are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to deal with the demands of an ever‑changing world. The Trust currently comprises 9 schools in the local area, with a variety of settings including primary, secondary, special and a PRU.
