Assistant Head of Year – Unpaid Development Opportunity

Maiden Erlegh School is offering a development opportunity for a colleague to gain experience and training in the role of Assistant Head of Year. The role is unpaid and will commence in the Autumn Term 2026. It provides an opportunity for career development and work experience.

Terms will be agreed with the successful applicant, with the initial commitment to shadow, support and learn where possible with the allocated Head of Year (HOY).

Key duties include:

  • Shadowing and supporting the Head of Year (HOY) and learning where possible.
  • Attending six after‑school training sessions throughout the academic year.
