Responsibilities include, in addition to the requirements of a mainscale or UPR teacher, the following:
- Developing, alongside relevant trust leads, the curriculum intent for the department
- Leading the curriculum implementation for the department
- Contributing to the wider development of whole school curriculum intent and design, modelling best practice and expertise in curriculum design and implementation to other curriculum leaders
- Contributing to shared curriculum planning and assessment as appropriate within the school and wider Trust
- Line-managing staff in the department team
Qualifications Requirements of a mainscale or UPR teacher (as appropriate) Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
