Maiden Cricket · Full-time · UK Based - Hybrid

Help change the future of women's and girls' cricket.

At Maiden Cricket, we're not just selling apparel, kit and clothing, we're building a movement.

Founded by sisters Honor and Cat Black to solve the challenges female cricketers have faced for decades, we design purpose-built kit for women and girls, built for her, not adapted from his.

We're growing fast, and we're looking for passionate, driven people to join our sales team and help us introduce Maiden Cricket to clubs, schools, universities, counties and cricket organisations across the UK.

About Maiden Cricket

Maiden Cricket is a UK-based brand designing purpose-built playing kit, teamwear and protective equipment for women and girls, tailored to female bodies for better fit, confidence and performance, rather than scaled-down versions of unisex/men's gear.

We supply clubs, schools, universities and counties, and partner with county boards and grassroots programmes across the country.

With a growing ambassador community of 300+ players, from rising stars to professionals, we're building something bigger than a product range.

We're a movement to grow the women's game, and we are expanding looking for people to join our journey.

The role

As a Sales Executive, you'll drive sales growth and build strong relationships across our target market.

Day to day, you'll identify and qualify new opportunities, manage an active pipeline, and run outreach to clubs, schools, universities, counties and grassroots organisations, presenting Maiden's teamwear and equipment solutions and helping decision-makers see what purpose-built kit can do for their players.

You'll meet with organisations to demonstrate the range, follow up leads, prepare proposals, and help move opportunities through the pipeline.

You'll work closely with marketing and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience, and feedback what you're learning about the market.

You'll also support our ambassador and partner programmes, represent Maiden at events and demos, and champion our mission at every stage of the customer journey.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Research and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Reach out to schools, clubs, universities and organisations by phone, email and Linked In.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, Heads of Cricket, PE departments, club committees and county contacts.
  • Hold in person and online meetings and product demonstrations and help move opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Prepare proposals and deliver the contracts through to close.
  • Keep our CRM up to date with accurate notes and activity.
  • Support ambassador and partner programmes, and attend events, exhibitions and customer visits.
  • Represent Maiden Cricket professionally and passionately, everywhere you go.

What we're looking for

  • We're much more interested in attitude than experience. You'll probably be:
  • Confident speaking to new people, and comfortable making outbound calls, sending personalised emails and meeting face-to-face
  • Organised, self-motivated and good at managing your own time.
  • A great communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Curious, coachable and willing to learn.

A bonus (but not essential)

  • Experience in B2B sales, lead generation or pipeline management, ideally in sports, apparel or a related field.
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management with clubs, schools or organisations.
  • Experience in sports sales, teamwear, or sponsorship/partnership development.
  • An understanding of or strong interest in cricket, particularly the women's and girls' game.
  • If you're hardworking, coachable and ambitious, we'd love to hear from you.
  • What success looks like
  • Consistently holding qualified meetings.
  • Building strong relationships with prospective customers.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Becoming an expert in the Maiden Cricket story and product range.
  • Playing a key role in helping more girls and women access purpose-built cricket kit.
  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing brands in women's cricket.
  • Work with a young, ambitious and passionate team.
  • Full training and ongoing coaching.
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business grows.
  • Make a real impact by helping grow girls' and women's cricket across the UK.
  • The details
  • Location: Hybrid — London / Southeast
  • Job type: Full-time
  • Requirement: A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel is part of the role (all business expenses covered).
