The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Since our early days, the development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence at MAHLE. Because we understand the interaction of engine components, we can deliver optimal solutions to our customers. Our products are used around the globe in two-wheeled vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines.
Your Contribution:
- Conduct maintenance, fault finding, repairs and calibration on mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems of dedicated test rigs.
- Ensure robustness of test data on dedicated test rigs and metrology systems.
- Implement improvements to working practises, document changes and write work instructions.
- Support and advise Technicians and Operators as appropriate.
- Any other duties defined by the Head of Projects, Development & Testing.
Your Skills and Experience:
- A strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems (essential).
- Experience of using metrology equipment (desirable).
- Experience with Excel.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (essential).
