Your Contribution
As a Junior Project Buyer, you will support the Purchasing team in sourcing parts and services required for project delivery. Working closely with Project Managers and senior buyers, you will follow established processes while developing your commercial, technical, and supplier‑management skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in obtaining and comparing supplier quotations.
- Supporting project meetings by preparing and providing purchasing‑related information.
- Helping to assess suppliers for capability, capacity, and suitability against project requirements.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Learning and applying MAHLE’s purchasing procedures and relevant standards.
Your Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for someone eager to develop a career in purchasing and project supply management. Ideally, you will bring:
- Strong communication and basic negotiation skills.
- An interest in procurement, supply chain, or engineering environments.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn technical concepts related to our markets and products.
- Experience using systems such as Windchill or other PDM/PLM tools is beneficial but not essential.
