Pochawa is a Korean BBQ restaurant built on noise, energy and the kind of hospitality that feels like a party you actually want to be at. The grill is on the table. The guests are loud. The team is louder. And the person running it needs to love every second of that. If your instinct is to turn the music down, you are not the right fit. If you want to be in the thick of it - building something, owning it, and taking real pride in what happens on that floor every single night - keep reading. This role has genuine scope. Pochawa sits within Maguro Group, a multi‑brand hospitality group operating across London with real ambition and real routes upward for the right person. The manager who takes this on is not maintaining something. They are shaping it. Lead with genuine care. Build something you're proud of.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who takes real pride in the experience they create. Whether you are joining Gogi, Bullgogi, Powchawa or Maguro Sushi, the fundamentals are the same: a close team, high standards and a genuine belief that great hospitality makes a real difference. You will lead a site from the front. You will build the team, drive the numbers and hold the standard. We will back you with a strong group behind you and real opportunities to grow within it.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading FOH and BOH teams to deliver an outstanding dining experience on every service
  • Owning the full site P&L, food cost, labour, sales and all operational performance metrics
  • Setting and maintaining brand standards for food quality, guest service and presentation
  • Managing all reservations, guest relations and the overall dining experience
  • Driving revenue through great service, upselling culture and strong guest loyalty
  • Managing all recruitment, onboarding, training and performance across the team
  • Ensuring full Food Safety, allergen and H&S compliance on every service
  • Reviewing trading performance weekly and leading improvement plans

What we're looking for:

  • Experienced Restaurant or General Manager from a restaurant or hospitality background
  • Proven P&L management and strong commercial instincts
  • A natural people developer who builds great teams and creates cultures people want to be part of
  • Passionate about food and genuine, warm hospitality
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum, Level 3 preferred
  • Flexible for evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
  • Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

What you'll get:

  • Competitive pay reviewed regularly
  • Staff meal on every shift
  • Staff discount across all Maguro Group brands
  • Real progression within your restaurant and across the wider Maguro Group
  • Training and development support at every level
  • A team culture where great work is genuinely recognised
  • Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle

Our culture:

Our restaurants are built on genuine craft, real warmth and people who care deeply about what they do. You will be part of a close team with high standards and a genuine commitment to looking after the people who make every service possible.
