The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator to take on high‑quality, complex work within a supportive and well‑structured environment. You’ll handle a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes, working closely with partners and contributing to the continued development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contractual claims, property litigation, and professional negligence
• Advising clients across a broad range of sectors with clarity, confidence, and commercial awareness
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to departmental growth
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication

About You

We’re looking for a confident, capable solicitor who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in litigation (flexible for the right candidate)
• Strong experience handling a broad range of contentious matters
• Excellent advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to provide pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice
• A team player who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a positive working culture
• Strong client‑facing skills and the ability to build long‑term relationships
