Magpie Security are a family run company operating at the top of its field for 23 years. We are looking to recruit 2 Full Time Security Officers to join our team, specifically for Mobile Security Officer positions that have become available looking after one of our clients' numerous properties.

You will likely have to resolve situations regarding young, drunk or vulnerable people, so excellent communication skills will be required for this role. You will be assisting our clients' customers with access/egress issues as well as unwanted visitors and conducting security checks of their properties.

This Full Time position will likely consist of a 4 on 4 off shift pattern but is subject to change. Ideally, the right candidate will have had previous experience as a Security Officer on a variety of different Static Sites, including a similar role to this position, and should be comfortable working night shifts. Candidates should be confident lone workers; full training for the position will be provided. Candidates should also be confident using a smartphone, tablet and computer as you may be required to use multiple mobile apps and software.

Main Duties:
  • Liaise with Customers and Clients and assist with their queries or concerns.
  • Assist customers while maintaining security protocols.
  • Carry out patrols of the properties to ensure the locations are safe and secure at all times.
  • Assist with access and egress to the properties.
  • Observe and Report maintenance issues through the designated process.

Candidates will need a checkable work history for the previous five years, and you must be fluent in written and spoken English. You must have a valid Front Line SIA Licence.
