Position Overview

As Legal Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, setting the tone for their experience with the practice. Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, creating a positive first impression
  • Answer, direct and manage incoming telephone calls and emails promptly and accurately

  • Receive, log and distribute post and documents according to practice procedures
  • Perform administrative tasks including scanning, filing and data entry with attention to detail
  • Liaise with fee earners and support staff to ensure smooth office operations and client service
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in line with Solicitors Regulation Authority requirements

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Previous receptionist or front office experience (legal or professional services background preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage professionally with clients
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office (legal case management systems an advantage)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
