This role is a maternity cover full time (contract end date would be end of July 2026) or it could go into a permanent position but in this case it would be part time. An organic food company based in Kingston are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Stock Controller to join their growing team. As Stock Controller, you will work together with the company’s Ops Team, reporting to the Purchasing Manager and Management team, and will take responsibility for the daily/weekly planning of stock replenishment and stock rotation.
Stock Controller Responsibilities:
- Booking in processes and procedures are followed correctly, all deliveries are booked in and available as live stock in a timely manner.
- Stock is reconciled on arrival and any issues with quality, quantity delivered, or pricing is flagged with supplier.
- Work with senior management team, on seasonal/yearly planning of our stock holding replenishment and costs.
- Monitor overstocks and wastage.
- Assist with rework of stock where required.
- Assist with other ad-hoc operational duties when/where necessary.
