A manufacturing company based in South West London is looking for an experienced and switched on Business Development Executive to join their growing team. The client is looking for someone who will help drive company growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building client relationships and closing deals. This role has a huge scope, covering sales, marketing, operations and business development. This will make for a varied and interesting job role where you can learn about the entire business and help to grow the group of companies.
The main purpose of a Business Development Executive role is to:
- Identifying and reaching out to potential new customers and existing clients.
- Handling Sales Enquiries (phone and email), creating sales orders, from initial contact to point of delivery/follow up.
- Account Management of clients.
- Work directly with external marketing agency to produce relevant material/content.
- Help create content & blogs for website/weekly marketing campaigns/daily posts for online social media platforms.
- Updating stock on social media platforms & sending out to trade customers.
- Stock management, assigning containers to purchase orders & sales invoices, assigning units to rental bookings & terminations.
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery, getting haulage quotes, setting up deliveries.
Business Development Specification:
- Experience in Sales, Marketing or Operations is a must for the role.
- Reliable, self-motivated and can work as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy and organisation.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Quickly adapt to new techniques, processes, technology and other ways of working.
