We are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Senior Lettings Negotiator to join an established, family-run residential lettings agency based in Crouch End, North London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven negotiator who enjoys taking ownership of their own pipeline, closing deals and building strong relationships with landlords and applicants.
The business offers a high degree of autonomy, strong earning potential and a clear progression route to Assistant Lettings Manager within 12 months for a successful performer.
A strong Lettings Negotiator looking to take the next step into a Senior position will also be considered.
The Role
As Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will manage the lettings process from initial applicant enquiry through to an agreed tenancy while actively contributing to the growth of the branch.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Registering and qualifying prospective tenants
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Managing your own pipeline of applicants and properties
- Negotiating offers and successfully closing deals
- Progressing agreed tenancies through referencing and compliance
- Maintaining strong relationships with landlords and applicants
- Prospecting for new business and developing relationships with prospective landlords
- Helping to generate new property instructions for the branch
- Attending valuations where appropriate
- Supporting and mentoring junior negotiators
- Assisting the Lettings Manager when required
- Consistently working towards individual and branch targets
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, competitive and commercially minded, with a strong track record within residential lettings.
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' residential lettings experience
- Proven experience achieving targets and closing deals
- Strong applicant registration and qualification skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- The ability to independently manage a lettings pipeline from enquiry through to agreed tenancy
- Experience building relationships with landlords
- A proactive approach to prospecting and generating new business
- Experience attending valuations, or the ambition and ability to progress into valuations
- The confidence to support and mentor more junior members of the team
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
- ARLA qualification, or willingness to complete the ARLA exams within six months
- Ideally, you will live within approximately 30 minutes of Crouch End
Package & Benefits
- Basic salary: Up to £26,000, depending on experience
- OTE: £45,000-£50,000+ through commission and performance

Working Hours
- Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00am-6:30pm
- Saturday: 10:00am-4:00pm, alternate Saturdays
