About Magnuson Hotels
Founded in 2003 by Thomas and Melissa Magnuson, former independent hotel owners, Magnuson Hotels was created to offer a more human, owner-focused alternative to the traditional hotel franchise model. Built from the ground up without outside investors, Magnuson champions a straightforward, independent approach: no excessive fees, no forced renovations, and no rigid brand rules. We are proud to remain family-run and fully independent, committed to providing real support to hotel owners who want to operate on their own terms.
This role plays a key part in advancing that mission, helping more owners discover a brand built on partnership, not control, and driving marketing strategies that reflect the authenticity and values of our community-driven network.
Overview
Predominantly, we are looking for someone who can manage key marketing functions - CRM (Monday.com), outbound email automation, lead generation and tracking, social media management, and content production. If you can also use InDesign to create assets, or create landing pages, that’s a bonus.
Our Marketing Manager will play a vital role in accelerating the growth of Magnuson Hotels Worldwide by driving partner acquisition and leading marketing execution. This is a hands-on marketing role, ideal for someone commercially minded who enjoys balancing relationship-building with structured delivery.
You’ll be instrumental in growing both our branded (US) and independent (US & UK) hotel partner network through:
- Magnuson Independent Hotels
- Magnuson Hotels Franchise
Your focus will be on executing our go-to-market strategy, managing outbound marketing and prospecting efforts, nurturing leads, and supporting campaign delivery.
Core responsibilities
- Lead and deliver marketing campaigns across digital, content, and events.
- Manage CRM (Monday.com), ensuring data integrity, segmentation, and automation workflows.
- Drive outbound lead generation and nurture partnerships via LinkedIn, email, and events.
- Produce engaging content (blogs, newsletters, social media) and maintain brand consistency.
- Coordinate and manage external agencies and freelancers to deliver campaigns and creative assets.
- Represent Magnuson Hotels at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Monitor marketing and CRM performance, optimising campaigns to meet targets.
- Support website updates, SEO, and adoption of innovative marketing tools.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to maximise business opportunities.
Ideal candidate
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who brings energy, initiative, and hospitality know-how. Ideally, you will have:
- At least 6 years’ experience in marketing, with a strong B2B and B2C focus
- Hospitality or related industry experience (preferred but not essential)
- A go-getter mindset – driven, proactive, and comfortable with fast-moving targets
- A hands-on approach, willing to take ownership of both strategic and executional tasks
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with proposals, CRM updates, and communications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional in all formats
- Confidence using platforms such as LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Monday.com, and social media tools
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects effectively
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and manage time and priorities
- Commercial awareness, tying marketing activity to business goals and growth metrics
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
Success criteria (First 6 months)
- Deliver targeted outreach that builds a strong partner pipeline (KPIs to be confirmed)
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including digital content, communications, event materials, and CRM templates
- Produce high-quality content, including blogs, newsletters, and social media posts, aligned with brand messaging and tone
- Improve CRM data integrity and implement automated workflows that support segmentation and lead nurturing
- Increase social media engagement by developing and executing a clear content strategy and growth plan
- Support execution of key marketing campaigns and event presence
Package
£38,000–£46,000 depending on experience + performance related bonus
Flexible working environment

Professional growth in a fast-evolving company
Pension, flexible and remote-first working model, holidays, opportunity to attend international industry events
