Magnus & Wolf is proud to be working with a Global CX consultancy to recruit for the role of Business Development Manager.
**This is an initial 12 month contract**
This role combines new business hunting with key account management, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, consultative environments selling complex B2B services.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Target and win new enterprise clients across multiple sectors including regulated industries, retail, and services.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead everything from outreach and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Solution Selling: Position a hybrid tech-human service model tailored to each clientβs needs.
- Key Account Management: Build long-term relationships with existing clients, develop growth plans, and lead cross-selling initiatives.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and delivery teams to develop winning proposals.
- Sector Intelligence: Keep up with market trends, platform developments (e.g. CX tech), and competitor activity.
- Commercial Processes: Manage forecasting, contract cycles, invoicing, procurement setup, and performance reporting.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in consulting, digital services, or customer/employee experience
- Strong track record in securing new business and managing strategic enterprise accounts
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and adapting to complex buying groups
- Able to build tailored solutions based on client needs
- Strong communication, commercial acumen, and data fluency
- Highly organised with experience running multiple projects in parallel
- Collaborative team player with the drive to work independently
- Industry familiarity in sectors like healthcare, finance, or travel is a plus
After 12 months the position will be reviewed and either the arrangement will continue or a permanent offer will be made.
