We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (FLT) to join a busy, well-established, and highly organised timber supplier based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a secure, permanent position from day one. This is not a standard warehouse role - full training will be provided, including on-site training to operate Combi FLT trucks, offering excellent career progression.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Picking timber orders accurately to specific customer measurements using a pick sheet
  • Measuring materials accurately (calculators provided, basic maths required)
  • Picking and handling large timber products
  • Loading and unloading goods and materials safely
  • Operating Counterbalance and Combi FLT trucks around the site
  • Adhering strictly to all warehouse processes and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT
  • Valid FLT licence preferred, but we welcome in-house, expired licences, or strong practical experience
  • A willingness to learn new processes and handle specialized products
  • Flexibility to work the weekly rotating shift patterns
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic, and good attention to detail
  • Physically fit and happy handling larger, heavy items
