Salary: Up to £35,000 + Overtime Available

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our clients manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mobile industrial water treatment systems while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment
  • Refurbish and fabricate components when required
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Calibrate equipment and instruments
  • Read and work from technical drawings
  • Work alongside fabricators, welders, electricians, and other fitters on larger projects
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Keep your work area clean and organised
  • Take part in continuous improvement activities
  • Attend training and team meetings
  • Work overtime when required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous mechanical fitting or assembly experience
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Experience working with PVC and stainless-steel pipework, valves, and fittings
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial maintenance
